M.Ed. B.ED.
Bethesda Women Teachers' Training College, Ranchi was established in 1987 by G.E.L. Church, Ranchi a Registered
Society as Minority Institution under Article 29 and 30 of the constitution of India. Since its inception, it is making
sustained effort to impart value-based education to young female graduates of Jharkhand Ranchi, being the capital of Jharkhand,
is a multi lingual and multi dimensional city which offers congenial educational atmosphere for Teacher Education.
Forum.
The College is situated in the middle of City on a big piece of land measuring 3.2 Acres having
boundary on all sides. It has its own three storied building. The campus is adorned by orchards and flower plants which makes teaching learning situation
meaninful as well as attractive.It has an excellent computer centre and well stocked library.
The College has permanent recognition from Eastern Regional Committee Bhubneshwar of National Council for Teacher
Education. It is affiliated to Ranchi University, Ranchi.
The course of B.Ed is of two academic year starting from 1st of July & ends of 31st of May.
The College maintains a high standard of teaching learning situation, which is reflected by its University results.
It organizes co-curricular activities in the campus during the session. The teaching staff are well qualified all having post graduate
degrees in school subjects as well as in Education with good educational achievements. Some of them possess Ph. D. Degree too..
Master's (M.Ed.) Degree programs offered by Bethesda Women Teachers’ Training College, Ranchi
The 2 year M.Ed. programme is designed to provide opportunities for students to extend as well as
deepen their knowledge and understanding of Education, specialized in select areas, and also
develop research capacities, leading to specializing in either elementary education or secondary
and senior secondary education.
Any person who has taken the degree of Bachelor of Education of this university or of another
university recognized as equivalent there to may be admitted to the examination for the degree of
Master of Education after having fulfilled the requirements.
Students passing the B.Ed. (Physical Education), B.Ed. (Special Education) or equivalent there to
any statutory university will also be held eligible for the admission to the M.Ed. course.
